Support us to support our communities
CEA needs ongoing funding to enable us to continue to deliver valuable energy efficiency services to our communities. Whilst we have a focus on income self-generation, we still require philanthropic funding and sponsorship to support our programmes.
Housing is a key determinant of health and is recognised by the World Health Organization as having a profound impact on people’s physical and mental health, and overall well-being. Up to 50,000 homes in Canterbury alone have inadequate insulation. CEA provides a range of energy and environmental services for the Canterbury & West Coast Communities, with the goal of ensuring a healthy living and working environment for every member of our community.
We have a range of subsidies and funding available to assist vulnerable households with insulation, subject to eligibility. We also provide non-subsidised insulation for community-minded citizens who want a high quality, professional install whilst knowing that any surpluses we make go towards helping those less fortunate. CEA can also provide heating and ventilation appliances (generally non-subsidised) and free, independent advice on how to best utilise home energy.
Since 1994, CEA has been keeping our community warm. Our qualified assessors can provide both domestic and commercial occupants with professional, independent advice on all aspects of energy efficiency. Our experienced installers offer a quick, no fuss installation process, and our professional administration team ensure client interactions are straightforward and stress-free.
CEA is highly experienced at managing programmes in a professional manner to ensure that the needs of our unique stakeholders are met. An approachable, professional and communicative team carry out the work for our most vulnerable clients, while our quantifiable, thorough reporting ensures transparency in our funding relationships.
