At CEA, we are driven by a desire to make a positive difference in our community. With a diverse range of skills and backgrounds, and a strong sense of teamwork, we are continually moving forward as an organisation in the energy efficiency industry.
We are an elastic organisation; we have grown and shrunk to meet the needs of our community. After the 2010 & 2011 earthquakes, the team worked quickly to get back up and running, working out of garages and living rooms to keep essential assistance keeping homes warm and dry available to the community.
In 2013, we reached the milestone of 20,000 homes insulated, and began the earthquake related projects such as the Red Cross Repair Well Project and the Find and Fix Project that improved the lives of hundreds.
We are an organisation full of passionate people with a common goal: to help people in our community.
- Our energy advisors, assessors and insulation installers are highly qualified and highly experienced, with many having more than 10 years’ experience in their field.
- A team of committed volunteers regularly assist our Curtain Bank to get donated curtains to those who need them as efficiently as possible. We have two volunteers who celebrated 10 years service with the Curtain Bank in 2018.
- Our office based team undergo continuous training and have extensive experience communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds.
