Terms of Trade
Shipping
All amounts quoted are in NZ dollars. We arrange delivery to all areas of New Zealand. However, we do not ship to PO Boxes or overseas. We ask you to carefully state the address you wish the goods to be delivered to, if other than home address. We will make every effort to ensure delivery of Goods are on time but will not be liable for any loss or damage, including consequential loss arising in any way from any delay in delivery.
Extent of Liability
Where goods are damaged, please notify us immediately together with the carrier. You may not use any of the damaged contents of the packaging without our express permission. The Fair Trading Act, Carriage of Goods Act and Consumer Guarantees Act will apply where appropriate.
The Trust must be notified within 7 days of delivery regarding defective goods or shortages. On receipt of a claim the Trust must be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate the claim. The Trusts liability regarding the replacement of any goods which the customer is entitled to reject is limited to replacing the goods at the customers address.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We use the information you provide when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use on information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Intellectual Property Rights
Copyright or all specifications and other technical information provided by the Trust in connection with the Goods or their supply are vested with the supplier.
Refund Policy
Community Energy Action Trust are not obligated to refund items unless they are defective or damaged. We will meet all your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. We may choose to refund payments on returned goods when the goods are returned in original condition and in original packaging within one month of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Please note we can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
