Terms and Conditions - Spring 2011 Promotion

The following terms and conditions for the Spring 2011 promotion (Mitsubishi Hypercore draw) apply:

• All customers with a quote for insulation from Community Energy Action and a heat pump quote from Airco with a quote date between 1 August 2011 and 7 October 2011 are eligible to enter a draw for a free heat pump as described below. As quote date is considered the date the Community Energy Action assessor assessed the insulation at the property.
• All customers who accept a quote for a heat pump from Airco and (when insulation not up to the current Building Standard) insulation from Community Energy Action between 1 August 2011 and 7 October 2011 will get a $100 gift voucher. Gift voucher will be a Visa Prezzy card which can be used anywhere and for anything where a Visa card is accepted and will be subject to the same conditions and charges if any. Customer does not need to have a (Visa) credit card to be able to use this gift voucher. As acceptation date is considered the date the accepted heat pump quote is received.
• The draw will be for a 4kW Mitsubishi Hypercore wall mounted heat pump in the Christchurch urban area with standard back to back installation (indoor and outdoor unit on same wall within 3m of each other) and access to ceiling space for electric cabling. For other installation options there will be charges and outside the Christchurch urban area a travel surcharge may apply.
• If the winner has had a heat pump installed by Airco between 1 August 2011 and 14 October 2011, they can either receive the 4kW Mitsubishi Hypercore heat pump as described above or get a refund if the installed heat pump (regardless of brand but installed by Airco between 1 August and 7 October) was of the same or lesser value than the offered heat pump.
• Winners will need to accept the insulation quote where applicable so insulation is up to current Building Standards. Winners with a Community Services Card who are unable to afford the insulation quote may be eligible for Community Energy Action charitable programmes.
• Quotes are performed on a first come first served basis and Community Energy Action nor Airco are responsible for unavailability of quoting options before 7 October 2011. Community Energy Action and/or Airco will do their best to provide quotes as soon as possible and within the promotion’s time but takes no responsibility for being unable to provide a quote in time to enter the promotion where this promotion proves very popular. Community Energy Action and/or Airco advise customers to get a quote as soon as possible and well before the end of the promotion to avoid missing out.
• Draw will be held on 9 October 2011.
• Only those living in Canterbury north of the Rakaia are eligible to enter the draw.
• The heat pump may be installed in another property than the property that was quoted provided all other terms and conditions are met.
• By getting and/or accepting an insulation quote during the periods referred to in these terms and conditions, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• Community Energy Action and Airco reserve the right to publicise any matter in connection with the promotion including use of winners' names and photographs. If the customer does not wish this, the customer must state clearly on their accepted quote or when asking for a quote that the customer does not wish to enter the promotion.
• Winners will be contacted by Community Energy Action and/or Airco and no correspondence will be entered into. If Community Energy Action and/or Airco are unable to contact the winner within a reasonable time using the contact details provided, Community Energy Action and Airco reserve the right to disqualify that person and select an alternative winner.
• Community Energy Action nor Airco take any responsibility for quote requests that have been mislaid, delayed or lost in the post, email or left as phone message.
• The free heat pump cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred other than mentioned above.
• Community Energy Action and Airco will decide eligibility within these terms and conditions and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
• If there is any dispute regarding these terms and conditions, results or any other matter relating to this promotion, the discussion of Community Energy Action and Airco will be final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
• These terms and conditions do not replace Community Energy Action’s and Airco’s standard terms and conditions for the installation of insulation which also apply. If there is any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the standard terms and conditions for the installation of insulation, the terms and conditions for the installation of insulation will prevail.
• These terms and conditions do not replace ENERGYWISETM insulation terms and conditions which also apply. If there is any discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the ENERGYWISETM insulation terms and conditions, the terms and conditions for the ENERGYWISETM insulation terms and conditions will prevail.
• Community Energy Action and Airco reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions or terminate this promotion at any time.
• To the full extent of the law, Community Energy Action and Airco will not be liable to the winner or any third party for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever (including consequential loss) suffered by the winner or any third party in connection with this promotion or on utilisation of the prize.
• These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
• Community Energy Action and Airco staff, its contractors and their immediate families are excluded from participating in this promotion.
